AikiGator, an Indian tattoo company, is working on a technology that will scan your tattoo and identify it.
It uses a technique called tattoo extraction to extract the ink.
The technology could allow tattoo-holders to save money, save on tattoo-pricing and improve quality of life, the company’s CEO, Vijay K. Gupta, told the Wall Street Journal.
AikiGators chief executive officer, Rajeev Kumar, said the company would use the technology to scan all the tattooed areas of a person’s body.
He said that the company has already used it on more than 100 people.
The tattoo scanner is based on a system developed by the company.
Its technology will be used to help tattoo-makers and tattoo-care professionals to make tattoos more comfortable, more durable and less prone to breakage.
It will also allow tattooing to be done in less time, Gupta said.
