A beauty counter is a great idea, and it’s just the sort of thing that you might want to try.
But, unfortunately, it has a downside.
The beauty counter market has been on a tear for decades, and has already generated a billion dollars in sales and a $2 billion in annual sales in the US alone.
According to Nielsen, in 2016, beauty counter sales surpassed $3 billion.
But there’s a catch.
You can’t just go to a beauty counter to buy your makeup, hair, nail polish, and cosmetics.
You have to have a specific beauty-related product, which can be a little difficult to find.
The problem is, the beauty-counter craze has led to some pretty serious price hikes.
In fact, in 2018 alone, beauty-Counter sales jumped from $1.1 billion to $2.3 billion, according to Nielsen.
In other words, you can expect to pay $5 to $7 for an entire box of lip balms, nail polishes, and face washes at some point in your life.
That’s not to say that you can’t get your hands on some of the best products on the market, but if you want to make sure you’re getting the most bang for your buck, you might as well make a decision now.
For instance, you probably don’t want to spend $40 or more on the best skincare and hair care products on your shelves.
